NYC was a blast. Ok so Saturday was cold. Frigid cold to me and my thin California blood. We had to buy scarfs and gloves to keep us warm. And we walked all over SoHo. All over. My feet were so effing tired at the end of the day. But that night we saw Slut The Musical. It's a wholesome musical, and extremely hilarious and worth seeing.
Sunday Mom and I got up and did the 5 mile Marathon Kickoff Race in Central Park. It was beautiful in the park. Started out sort of cold but once we were running we were plenty warm. Sunday turned into a beautiful day. While we were waiting for the race to begin, we saw Sting just walking through the park. He was adorable. He waved!
After the race, we went to Canal Street with Christina and we bought "designer" bags and stuff. It's hilarious to go to Canal Street. The people are all "Gucci, Prada, Fendi" in very low voices. And then they practically beg you to come inside. C got a totally cute Pregio bag. Which we kindly asked the lady in the shop to switch the label to "Prada." It was awesome!
Sunday night we saw Forbidden Broadway: Special Victims Unit. It also was hilarious! Everything was hilarious this weekend it seems. But a show that makes fun of everything currently on Broadway? A brilliant idea.
My luggage has been located and is en route, or something. We'll see.
