Effed up.
I don't know what to say. This is seriously effed up. EFFED UP! That man is in no way qualified to sit on any court, let alone the U.S. Supreme Court. If (God forbid) President Bush takes total leave of his senses and even considers this man, let alone nominates him, I am leaving. Back to Canada. I'll find a way to finish my law degree there.

The new thought--after Laura Bush's recent public comments--seems to be that G.W.B. will be looking for a woman to replace O'Conner. Actually, William Kristol at The Weekly Standard has a pretty good op-ed piece about possible female candidates for the spot. Here's to hoping.
