The Supreme Court

I will say this about the John Roberts nomination. Conservative or uber-conservative, why did President Bush choose another white man? Could he not at least try to choose someone who was a woman or a minority? It's not like there aren't qualified minority men or women on the federal bench (ok qualified in the President Bush would choose one of these people qualified). Draft Prado makes this point with its fun chart.

And, while we're on the subject, Reason has a list of questions they'd like to ask John Roberts...

who apparently has two children and a wife. The wife is Jane, the kids are Jack and Josie. John, Jane, Jack and Josie. Did we maybe take the alliteration too far with this family?
