Gas

is $2.99 a gallon around here. Or it was yesterday. I need to fill up.

I'm contemplating a trip to the Gulf over spring break to do some rebuilding work. Others may join me if they so desire.

2.99 ain't bad. Everywhere we go the gas stations are out of fuel. I found one today that had gasoline. It was 3.29 a gallon. On Monday it was 2.54. The southeast area has been told to not use gasoline unless absolutely necessary. An official in Georgia was quoted as saying that people might want to rethink their Labor Day travel plans because while they may have enough fuel to get where they're going it's likely they won't have enough fuel to get back.
